Lynn Adams – Visual Artist

Project: “Once Upon a Tile,” creating individual tiles for a painted tile mural with at risk children at the Boys & Girls Club of San Dieguito

Cynthia Britain – Visual Artist

Project: Conducting a weekly art program on painting for at-risk, inner-city adolescent girls who live at the Crittenton Residential Treatment Center in Fullerton

Juan Manuel Cortez – Musician, Director

Project: Capistrano Mariachi Enrichment Project, teaching Mariachi music to Latino students age 5 to 18, and mentoring new music instructors, with the Capistrano Community Mariachi Program in San Juan Capistrano

Stephanie Cunningham – Visual Artist

Project: Conducting mixed-media art activities for women who are enrolled in the “Battling the Blues” program at the SusiQ Senior Center in Laguna Beach

Nancy Egan – Visual Artist, Educator

Project: Teaching drawing and oil painting to at-risk young people age 12-18 at the Boys & Girls Club in San Clemente

Barbara Gothard – Visual Artist, Educator

Project: Art and Sustainability, teaching first generation, college-bound high school students to create environmentally conscious works of art at the Preuss School UCSD in San Diego

Donald Harrell – Musician, Educator

Project: Giving private trumpet and cornet lessons to students who cannot afford music instruction, at schools in Placentia

Georgia Freedman Harvey – Visual Artist

Project: Leading one-on-one art sessions and workshops with teens who live with chronic illness at CHOC Hospital in Orange County

Marcos Martinez – Actor, Director, Educator

Project: Providing performing arts instruction to underserved Latino English Language learners of all ages, in partnership with the Center ARTES

Jo McLaclan – Actor, Teacher

Project: Introducing seniors to improvisational theater at affordable senior housing communities, in collaboration with the EngAGE organization

Nancy Pricetta – Visual Artist

Project: Leading after-school art projects for students with special needs at Paul Ecke Central Elementary School in Encinitas

Karen Wilkening – Visual Artist, Teacher

Project: Leading expressive arts therapy groups for adults recovering from substance abuse and low income children and adults in Northern San Diego County
