Aileen PerryAileen Perry has been a biology teacher at Whitney High School for 17 years. She is currently teaching Honors Biology, AP Biology, and an elective course, Advanced Topics in Biology. Aileen is the science department chairperson and a member of the school leadership team. She is one of the science teacher leaders for the ABC Unified School district. In 2006, she took a group of students to Costa Rica to study rainforest ecology.

Aileen graduated from UCLA with a degree in biology specializing in Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution. She received her M.A. in Science Education from California State University, Fullerton.
